BASF assists Lotte Chemical in producing high-transparency medical PP
August 2, 2021-Lotte Chemical, a large Korean chemical company, uses BASF's Irgastab® (a non-discoloring plastic processing stabilizer) to produce medical polypropylene (PP). With the global new crown vaccination work in full swing, the demand for syringes has also increased exponentially, and medical grade polypropylene (PP) is the raw material for manufacturing syringes.
